This workshop is designed to enable all those who manage and lead teams to gain an understanding of what makes as effective team, the purpose of a team and to explore team working V’s working alone to achieve desired results. The workshop will also explore the how to identify and manage the different characteristics within their team and consider different management/leadership approaches to achieving a more engaged and productive workforce.
The workshop provides a safe environment in which attendees can share their experiences and find workable solutions to their own situations thus, establishing best practice. Our experienced facilitators will bring the content to life by using real life examples to contextualise thus, adding meaning and value to the workshop content.
The main aim of the workshop is to enable participants to understand and be able to identify what makes a team the traits/characteristics of a high performing team.
- To consider different approaches and ways to manage/lead a team to achieve the desired outcomes along with exploring potential barriers/challenges to effectively managing a team .
BY THE END OF THE WORKSHOP THE ATTENDEES WILL: Be able to recognise how they manage teams and the different characteristics of their team members and to explore/consider potential changes they could make to their own behaviours and approaches to more effectively manage their team.

Individual Characteristics “getting to know your team”
How to recognised the behaviours of a high performing team including the traits and characteristics of high performers. Explore how to get the best from your team by using different approaches including when to delegate.
Leading and managing teams
Explore what your leadership style is, how to motivate your team more effectively. What are the potential challenges and barriers to getting the best from your team, managing performance and providing feedback.
