Workshop Details:

This workshop is designed to support those within organisations who operate in a supervisory, management or team development role. It looks to create an understanding of the difference between coaching and mentoring within a work-based environment and to provide an awareness of different coaching and mentoring methods approaches.
Our experienced facilitators will bring the content to life by using real-life examples to contextualise thus, adding meaning and value to the workshop content.

Workshop Aims:
The aim is to create an understanding of the difference between coaching and mentoring and be able to identify the relevant skills/qualities of a mentor and coach should possess.

  • To understand the benefits of using coaching and mentoring in the workplace – related model and the importance of planning and the setting of SMART objectives in the role of coach or mentor

By the end of the Workshop the attendees will:
Be able to recognise the importance of their role as coach and/or mentor in the workplace and the important differences and benefits of using combined or independent approaches.
